RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann says that Erling Braut Haaland has held talks with the club.
Several reports claimed that the in-demand RB Salzburg striker visited Leipzig on Wednesday, and Nagelsmann has now confirmed the discussions.
“I tried to explain to him in good English what my idea of football is,” he said (via Goal). “I think it went quite well.”
“You can say relatively little after such conversations, because they are usually very one-sided.
“You say a lot as a coach while the agent and the player mostly listen.”
The 19-year-old is also understood to have visited Leipzig’s Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, and Nagelsmann admitted that the upcoming game between the pair could impact the striker’s decision.
He added: “We would have to ask him about that, but there might be an argument!”
