Pep Guardiola insists Sergio Aguero will be fine to face Crystal Palace on Saturday – despite crashing his car in midweek.
The Manchester City forward, 31, took to Instagram this week to reveal he had been involved in an accident on his way to training.
His £150,000 Ranger Rover was in a bad way – but the Argentine walked away unscathed.
Guardiola has welcomed John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne and Benjamin Mendy back into his squad after injuries – and confirmed Aguero will be available too.
He said: “The car is not fine. But with Sergio, no problem.”
Stones will return after missing the last month with a thigh problem picked up in training in Ukraine last month.
De Bruyne missed the last couple of games with a groin issue while Mendy had a hamstring issue that kept him out of the defeat to Wolves.
Guardiola said: “Yes some of them are back, Kevin is back, John has trained good in the last couple of days. Mendy was a little later but… yeah.”
City must find a way to battle their way back into the title race after slipping eight points behind runaway leaders Liverpool.
Guardiola has had a fortnight to think about what went wrong in the shock defeat to Wolves.
He said: “Every season is different and every situation is different. I’m not going to change my opinion on my team.
“We are going to come back like we want to be. We have to be focussed on improving our game and winning games.”
