Edinson Cavani is reportedly being lined up for a stunning free transfer to Juventus.
CalcioMercato claims the Paris Saint-Germain striker could link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain in an all-star attack next summer despite additional interest from Manchester United.
Cavani, 32, is in the final year of his PSG contract and will leave the club alongside captain Thiago Silva at the end of the season.
The French giants have already secured a potential replacement in Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi.
And Cavani believes the time is right for him to try his luck elsewhere.
The Uruguay international has plundered 195 goals in 282 games for the Ligue 1 champions, winning five titles, four French cups, five league cups and four Champions trophies in the process.
But Cavani has been hit by injuries this season and has only made three appearances in all competitions so far.
However, he is still regarded as one of the deadliest finishes in world football.
And free transfer experts Juve may not be able to resist snapping Cavani up – especially with Mario Mandzukic tipped for a Turin exit in January.
The hitman has already played in Serie A for Palermo and Napoli, and could jump at the chance to add to his Coppa Italia trophy from 2012.
ESPN adds that Cavani is also attracting interest from Man United.
The Red Devils are woefully short of options in attack.
