Eric Bailly could return for Manchester United ahead of schedule from his knee injury.
The central defender underwent surgery and was anticipated to return in December, but could yet be back in November.
Bailly will fly out to Spain this week to see if he is able to come off crutches and begin training once again.
The 25-year-old suffered the injury during pre-season against Tottenham and has not played a competitive game this term as a result.
This season could be a crucial one for the Ivorian at United as his contract is currently set to expire next summer.
He will be free to discuss terms with other clubs when the January transfer window opens.
