Fred has posted a defiant message on social media after being frozen out at Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Jose Mourinho splashed out £50million to sign the Brazilian midfielder from Shakhtar Donetsk on a five-year deal back in 2018.
He made a handful of appearances under the Portuguese but struggled to nail down a permanent place in the first team.
Following Mourinho’s sacking and Solskjaer’s appointment Fred has found opportunities even harder to come by, with the Norwegian under no obligation to play him.
But the Brazilian is remaining positive despite not even appearing on the bench for Man United this season
Posting an image of himself representing the Red Devils last season to Instagram, Fred wrote: “Stay focused, and don’t let anything stop you to accomplish your goals.”
Diogo Dalot is another Mourinho signing who has found himself frozen out at Manchester United since Mourinho’s departure.
Solskjaer splashed out £55million on Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, making the Englishman the world’s most expensive full-back in the process.
Dalot spoke out about the competition for his position at the start of the season, saying: “I want to make my statement in the team and play as much as I can at right-back because I think it’s my best position. I just need to prove that to the manager with my work.”
