Philippe Coutinho joined his new Bayern Munich team-mates for the club’s annual Oktoberfest promotional photo shoot as he continues to adapt to life in Germany.
The Brazil international, 27, joined the Bundesliga giants from Barcelona earlier this summer on a season-long loan deal, which includes an option to buy at the end of it.
It brought an end to a difficult spell with the Catalan giants which saw the playmaker fail to live up to expectations following his £142million move from Liverpool in January 2018.
Coutinho is now looking to rediscover his top form and already appears to be settling in to life with his new club.
The Brazilian joined other members of Niko Kovac’s squad after a training session on Sunday for a photo call to promote Oktoberfest, a traditional Munich folk festival which begins on September 21.
The 27-year-old seemed to fully embrace the event alongside fellow new signings, including Ivan Perisic, Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez.
The faces were joined by other Bayern stars such as Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer, Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski.
Members of Kovac’s squad were pictured wearing Bavarian outfits, complete with lederhosen, traditional shoes and jackets.
“I’ve never worn anything like that before. It’s the first time, it’s great,” Coutinho told the club’s official website. “I think I look good in it.”
The shoot came a day Bayern continued their strong start to the new Bundesliga campaign with a comfortable 6-1 victory over Mainz.
It’s a result which means that the defending champions will enter the international break second in the table behind RB Leipzig, after two ins and a draw from their opening three matches.
