The representatives of striker Fernando Llorente are reported to have met with Inter Milan, ahead of a late move to the Italian giants.
Llorente is a free agent after departing Tottenham in the summer following the expiration of his contract.
The meeting has further fuelled talk that Mauro Icardi will be departing the San Siro this summer, according to Football Italia.
Manchester United had been linked with a move for the Spaniard but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to instead put his faith in youth players.
Maurcio Pochettino was keen to tie Llorente down to a new short-term deal as he feared his side no longer had a plan B without the 6ft 4in forward.
However, it appears Llorente could be the latest player to swap the Premier League for Serie A this summer following the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
