Zinedine Zidane has left the door open on a potential shock swoop to sign Neymar.
The Real Madrid boss refused to rule out a move for the PSG forward with the transfer deadline just a few weeks away.
Neymar is desperate to leave the French champions with former club Barcelona rumoured to be front-runners for his signature.
However Zidane has suggested the Brazilian could yet be lining up in the white of Madrid by next month.
“Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen,” Zidane said.
We are with the squad that we have and we are only thinking about that.”
Neymar has only recently returned to train with PSG as he continues to push for a transfer.
The 27-year-old has made it clear he sees his future elsewhere, and it is thought his preference would be to return to the Nou Camp, despite Madrid’s interest.
PSG have stated they are open to discussions for the player, but only if it meets their valuation.
