Manchester United outcast Matteo Darmian is set to join Inter Milan on free transfer next summer, according to reports in Italy.
Having already swooped to sign Romelu Lukaku in a £73million deal, Inter are set to raid Old Trafford yet again.
Darmian’s career at United is all-but over and has been linked with a return to Italy for months – but may have to wait until 2020.
Darmian, 29, has reportedly already agreed a deal with Antonio Conte’s side to join the San Siro side next year.
The Italian right-back has been limited to just 92 appearances in his four years at United – including just SEVEN last term.
However, he has never been first choice at the club and has slipped further down the pecking order this summer thanks to the £50m signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Talented youngster Diogo Dalot is also ahead of Darmian in the queue under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Juventus had also been linked with a move this summer, with the Italian having also played for local rivals Torino.
But now it seems Darmian will simply see out the final ten months of his contract and move to Inter on July 1.
