Nigeria international forward Henry Onyekuru admits he’d love to stay at Galatasaray after his successful spell on loan from Everton.
The 21-year-old has never played a game for the Blues after struggling to gain a work permit following his move in 2017, initially joining Anderlecht and then Gala, where he scored 14 goals as his side won the Turkish Super Lig.
That led to links with Bayern Munich, but the forward says he’d love another season in Istanbul.
“My desire is to stay at Galatasaray,” Onyekuru told Hurriyet via the Liverpool Echo.
“If Everton listen to me, then I will gladly stay at this great club. But of course, this is something which can be decided between the two clubs.”
