Manchester United fans have had plenty to celebrate recently.
They have enjoyed a dramatic resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with midfield maestro Paul Pogba key to their turnaround.
The French World Cup winner now looks set to complete a dramatic u-turn and stay at Old Trafford having threatened to quit the club just three months ago.
According to The Sun, Pogba has told club bosses he intends to stay after private talks with Solskjaer.
He was previously ready to leave the club he rejoined for a huge fee in August 2016 but the sacking of Jose Mourinho and arrival of Solskjaer has sparked a dramatic change.
According to The Sun, an insider at Old Trafford said: “Pog has told Ole he has no intentions of leaving. They have had some lengthy chats together.
“His head has been cleared after a testing time and he is showing the ability we all know he has now.
“He is not for sale at any price and we have made that clear.
“Pog is the future of this club and is not going anywhere.”
Pogba’s young family have settled in Manchester, and despite links new Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane could be keen for a summer swoop he’s set to stay put.
The 25-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract, but the club are understood to be in no rush to secure a long-term extension given they still have the option to activate an extra 12 months.
Paris Saint-Germain and former club Juventus have previously been linked with moves for Pogba should he opt to leave United.
