Fenerbahce 2-0 Goztepe: Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Scores First Goal For New Side After Swansea Loanee Andre Ayew Broke Deadlock

Moses celebrates after scoring in the second half of the Turkish Super Lig clash on Friday night

Chelsea loanee Victor Moses scored his first goal for Fenerbahce in a 2-0 victory over Goztepe on Friday night.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Turkish Super Lig side on a one-and-a-half-year loan in the January transfer window, scored for his new side in the 73rd minute of the league clash.

Moses’ goal off the bench came after Swansea loanee Andre Ayew had broken the deadlock within the first 10 minutes of the match.

The Nigeria international made his debut as a second-half substitute in Fenerbahce’s 3-2 win over Yeni Malatyaspor on Monday.

Moses has moved to Turkey until the end of the 2019-20 season after falling out of favour under Maurizio Sarri.

Moses was converted from a winger to wing back by Antonio Conte, Sarri’s predecessor, playing a key role in the 2016-17 title triumph.

Friday’s win saw Fenerbahce move five points clear of the relegation zone and leapfrog rivals Goztepe.

The visitors had to play 40 minutes with 10 men after former Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome was sent off.
