Manchester United have had a lot to cheer recently on the pitch and that sentiment was matched off it on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils held their annual event United for Unicef Gala Dinner – which was made even more of a special occasion as it marked their 20th anniversary working together.
Key personnel Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku were all present and looked suarve as they walked on to the red carpet.
United’s club-record signing Pogba appeared in high spirits as he smiled for cameras wearing a suit which had his nickname ‘La Pioche’ on it.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer donated his watch to charity as he and his Manchester United stars attended the Unicef Gala Dinner at Old Trafford.
Speaking on the gala, charitable Solskjaer said: “For me, it’s the closest charity to my heart.
“It’s fantastic to see so many people here and I hope we can raise quite a bit of money tonight, I think everyone knows the cause.”
No club has held a longer relationship with a global children’s organisation than United and Unicef, with the partnership raising over £4million.
Fans will be able to rub shoulders with their heroes at the gala, with special prizes to be handed out during the live auction.
