Manchester United have beaten Juventus and Paris Saint Germain to the signing of 16-year-old Amiens forward Noam Emeran. The compensation fee is expected to be an initial £90,000.
Emeran is yet to make his senior debut for the Ligue 1 club, however the centre forward has already caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
United have won the race for the youngster, who has won two caps for the France Under-16s side.
Meanwhile, United defender Regan Poole is joining former club Newport County on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old became Newport’s youngest ever player when he made his debut aged 16 years and 94 days in 2014.
Poole moved to Old Trafford for £180,000 in September 2015, however has not yet made his Premier League debut.
