Real Madrid are reportedly primed to offer £90million for Kalidou Koulibaly.
Il Mattino claims the Manchester United target is also being eyed up by Los Blancos after becoming one of the world’s top defenders at Napoli.
Koulibaly, 27, was recently named in Serie A’s Team of the Season for the first half of the campaign.
And United are believed to be keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
However, Real have now entered the race for Koulibaly’s signature.
Santiago Solari is yet to turn things around after taking over from Julen Lopetegui.
And Real’s defence appears to be particularly vulnerable, with the giants crashing to a 2-0 home defeat against Real Sociedad on Saturday.
They are now ten points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.
And Koulibaly could be the right man to take them back up the table.
Napoli want at least £90m to part ways with the Senegal international, and luckily for them it seems Real are willing to play ball.
