Antoine Griezmann Shows Off His Customised NBA-Inspired Boots Ahead Of Real Vallodolid Clash, As He Has Derrick Rose, D’Angelo Russell, James Harden And Isaiah Thomas Etched On His Heels

Griezmann will be seeking to make a major impact when Atletico face Real Valladolid

Antoine Griezmann has made no secret of his love of basketball, and the Atletico Madrid striker has now taken things a step further with a pair of customised NBA -inspired boots.

The Puma boots are emblazoned with images of four high-profile NBA stars.

Derrick Rose (Minnesota Timberwolves), D’Angelo Russell (Brooklyn Nets), James Harden (Houston Rockets) and Isaiah Thomas (Denver Nuggets) are all featured on the heels of Griezmann’s boots, as reported by The18.com.

This isn’t the first time that Griezmann has had special boots designed – he had a special pair made for France’s friendly against Uruguay last month. 

Griezmann is set to feature when Atletico face Real Valladolid away on Saturday.

Atletico are currently in third place in La Liga, three points adrift of leaders Barcelona.

So far this campaign Griezmann has mustered eight goals and provided six assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.
