Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool players have arrived at Hope Street Hotel ahead of Sunday’s Merseyside derby showdown.

The Reds take on Marco Silva’s Everton  and are looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Liverpool stars were pictured stepping off their club bus as they gear up for a mouthwatering clash.

The red side of Merseyside will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run against their rivals to 18 matches in all competitions. The longest streak ever in this fixture.

For Everton’s last win at Anfield in the Premier League, you have to go back to September 1999.

Liverpool may well find this time tougher than most. Everton are excelling under Marco Silva. They have five wins in their last seven. Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson look ever more dangerous with eight goals between them in that period.

While Liverpool’s improved defensive performances have broken records this season with the five goals conceded the best in their history after 13 league matches.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be hoping to close the gap on Manchester City to two points after Pep Guardiola’s side beat Bournemouth 3-1 on Saturday.

The Champions League finalists will be without captain Jordan Henderson who is suspended for his red card against Watford last weekend.

The Toffees have no fresh injury concerns and Ademola Lookman is in contention for his first league start of the season.

Liverpool will stay second in the table regardless of the results on Sunday.
