Manchester United star Paul Pogba is fronting a new campaign by adidas Originals.
The French World Cup winner stars in a video to promote the latest edition in the P.O.D-S3.1 range of trainers.
In the video, set in the suburbs of Paris, Pogba adopts the role of storyteller.
He revisits his upbringing and shines a light on those who have continued to support him.
The video cuts between Pogba narrating in French and footage of actors playing him, his friends and family at various stages of his life.
Pogba’s campaign with adidas aims to play on the concept that ‘you can be great alone but you are always better together’.
United fans may be hoping that Pogba and Jose Mourinho can heed the message and end their feud which has marred much of the season so far.
But it was reported earlier this month that Pogba wants to leave Old Trafford, even if manager Mourinho departs before him.
Pogba is currently on a break from United duty and with his France team-mates.
France drew 2-2 with Iceland on Thursday night after scoring twice in the final five minutes.
Pogba had been subbed off with France 2-0 down but he stormed back onto the pitch after Kylian Mbappe was on the receiving end of some rough treatment by Iceland’s Runar Mar Sigurjonsson in stoppage time.
