Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed ditching Real Madrid for Juventus this summer was an absolute no-brainer.
The Portuguese star, 33, revealed he didn’t need to think twice when “one of the best clubs in the world” came knocking for him in a £99million deal.
Despite playing for Los Blancos since 2009 and winning four Champions League crowns and two La Liga titles, CR7 couldn’t wait to start his new life in Italy.
Ronaldo added he has admired Juve since he was a kid and always dreamed of lining up in the black and white.
The former Manchester United forward told JuventusTV: “Great club, first of all it is a great club.
“Since I was a kid, I looked at this team and said I hope to play there one day.
“Now I will play for a fantastic club, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’m happy.
“I don’t have a precise moment when I decided.
“During the years, we played a few times against Juve and I had a special feeling that the Italian supporters like Cristiano.
“It’s the biggest club in Italy, one of the best in the world, so it was an easy decision, as Juve are an unbelievable club.”
