The Frenchman stunned the club by announcing he was quitting following three straight Champions League triumphs.
And on the day his country kick-started their World Cup campaign with a win over Australia, Zidane appeared to have football on the back of his mind.
Instead he lapped up the sunshine while lying on a luxury boat in good company.
Questions will now be asked over his future with Zidane set to be in high demand following his successes in Spain.
