Neymar took to training on Saturday sporting long blond locks ahead of the World Cup

The world’s most expensive footballer Neymar appears to have followed his usual trend of bringing out a new haircut for the big occasion.

Brazil have gone through the final stages of their preparation ahead of kicking off their World Cup campaign against Switzerland in Rostov.

The Selecao will make their bow in the Russia showpiece on Saturday, with talisman Neymar set to lead the front line after returning from injury in time for the tournament.

And his team-mates shouldn’t have too much issue spotting him, after the PSG man recently showed off his new vibrant, blond locks.

Spirits appeared to be high in the Brazil camp as they prepare to meet Switzerland on Sunday

Neymar has already got back among the goals for Brazil, scoring in both recent friendlies

Brazil meet Switzerland at the Rostov Arena, as they hope to get an early three points on the table in group E.

Costa Rica and Serbia also make up the group, and will be looking to pull off a shock in order to progress to the latter stages.

Manager Tite watched over the training session on Saturday, as his players worked with the ball on the stadium pitch.

The Selecao chief then called his players all together in a big huddle for a debrief in the centre circle.

Brazil will be looking to make a better start than their neighbours and arch rivals Argentina, who were held to a 1-1 draw against minnows Iceland.

Lionel Messi missed a penalty as the smallest nation to ever compete in a World Cup tournament dug in to earn a share of the spoils.
