Belgium flew out for the World Cup in Russia in true ‘Red Devils’ style on Wednesday.
Roberto Martinez’s star-studded side lived up to their alias by boarding a personalised ‘Red Devils’ plane for their flight to Russia.
Belgium’s ‘Red Devils’ mascot also came on to the runway at the Zaventem airport to see the side off and wish them luck for the upcoming tournament.
Some of their star players, including Kevin De Bruyne, even had their pictures and signatures on the headrests inside the stylish plane.
Several Belgium players took to social media to post pictures of the team as they embarked on their journey east.
Thomas Vermaelen posted a whole squad photo on his Instagram, while Adnan Januzaj took the opportunity to share a snap of himself making a tongue-in-cheek gesture after finding out he just had his name on the headrest and not his picture.
The Belgium squad are due to touch down in Russia on Wednesday afternoon and will immediately head off to their Moscow base to check-in.
Martinez is expected to hold a brief team meeting with the players before putting them through their paces in the first training session ahead of the World Cup on Thursday.
