Brazil have begun their preparations for the World Cup after they enjoyed a training session inside an empty Anfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Familiar faces in Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho graced the Liverpool pitch as they joked and smiled ahead of their friendly with Croatia on Sunday.
Coutinho, who is set to play at the ground for the first time since completing his big-money to Barcelona, looked calm and relaxed with his compatriots as they were put through their paces.
Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar also took part in the session as he continues to make his return to full fitness from his foot injury.
Having sat on the sidelines for the past few months, the 26-year-old will likely make a second-half substitute appearance against Croatia as he bids to be fully fit for the beginning of the World Cup in under a fortnight’s time.
Neymar’s absence from the starting XI means Tite will most probably start with a front two of Gabriel Jesus and Coutinho for Sunday’s game.
While Sunday’s match will give fans the chance to see some of the biggest names in football, many Merseyside locals will be keeping an eye out for Roma goalkeeper Alisson, who has been heavily linked with the club.
Training alongside Manchester City’s Ederson, Alisson will be the main attraction as the Reds look set to part with £60million for the 25-year-old.
