Super Eagles kicked off preparations for their friendly against England with a splash as the Wembley ground staff deemed the drenched pitch usable for their training session.

After some ball-bounce tests and further examination, Chelsea full back Victor Moses and Co were given the green light to proceed in the empty 90,000-seater stadium.

Victor Moses was present for the session after returning from his second honeymoon following the Blues’ triumph in the FA Cup final.

Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr told KweséESPN that the winger had asked for an extended break to spend time with his wife.

‘After the FA Cup Final, he told me it was the first anniversary of his wedding and if I could give him two days to celebrate,’ the German coach began. ‘I said no problem.’
