Mohamed Salah To Begin Rehabilitation In Spain In Race To Be Fit For World Cup

Mohamed Salah is jetting off to Spain to start treatment for the shoulder injury in a bid to save his World Cup dream.

The tearful Liverpool striker was taken off in Saturday’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid after twisting his arm in a fall.

Now he will launch a treatment and rehabilitation programme in Spain on Wednesday.

Salah will be joined by Liverpool medics plus the Egyptian FA president and doctor.

The 25-year-old has already predicted he will be fit for Russia.

The Egypt skipper said: “It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter.
