Multiple Manchester United players brought their romantic partners to work on Wednesday as the team gathered at the club’s Carrington training base.
Defenders Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo all arrived for training on Wednesday morning accompanied by the wives, while midfielder Juan Mata showed up with girlfriend Evelina Kamph.
Smalling’s wife Sam Cooke hid her face from photographers outside Carrington, while Jones drove his missus, Kaya Hall, in a white Bentley.
Rojo and partner Eugenia Lusardo arrived in Mercedes, while striker Romelu Lukaku travelled solo as he hitched a ride in the back of a white taxi.
It was bromance rather than romance for Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, who shared a car on Wednesday, with the latter driving his friend and team-mate to work.
United’s players were preparing for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The Red Devils finished three places above Chelsea in the Premier League but bookies are struggling to split the sides ahead of the Wembley showpiece.
United hope to be boosted by the return of Lukaku, who missed their last three League games of the season with an ankle injury.
But there are fears the Belgian striker is behind schedule in his recovery bid and Saturday’s game may come too soon.
