Silva has been heading back to his homeland to be at little Mateo’s side with the permission of boss Pep Guardiola.
And Silva has now been given an extra break to return to Valencia to be with his family.
The 32-year-old flew back yesterday, and will miss the Brighton game tomorrow night.
He is likely to return in time to face Southampton in the final match of the Premier League season on Sunday.
David has gone back to Spain after asking the boss to go home. He is not likely to be back for Sunday either. It will open up the chance for Yaya Toure to play. Pep wants to give him some minutes as a some later in the game anyway, so that could happen now.
