William Troost-Ekong is reportedly fearing for his Bursaspor future after the Nigeria international find regular game time hard to come by under his new manager Mustafa Er.
A source close to the player claimed Troost-Ekong is unhappy at Timsah Arena after being dropped to the bench for Bursaspor’s match against Fenerbahce last weekend.
The 24-year-old hasn’t started any game since Bursaspor suffered 5-0 defeat to Galatasaray in February.
He came on as a substitute replacing Ertugrul Ersoy in Bursaspor 2-1 win over Konyaspor on April 30.
It appears the Super Eagles defender is now behind Turkish U21 star Ertugrul Ersoy and Cristian Chagas Tarouco in the Defence setup at Bursaspor. This new development may be linked to the recent departure of French coach Paul Le Guen.
He joined Turkish side in July 2017 from Belgian club KAA Gent.
Troost-Ekong is now believed to be weighing up his options as there is no indication he will be in Mustafa’s plans for next season.
