Manchester City Aces Raheem Sterling And Nicolas Otamendi Celebrate With Custom-Made WWE Championship

England forward Raheem Sterling had a big grin on his face as he carried around the title belt

Manchester City have grappled with and beaten the rest of the Premier League en route to being crowned champions this season.

And, courtesy of the WWE, they have been presented with a title belt to match their impressive achievement ahead of lifting the trophy on Sunday afternoon.

A series of City players were photographed with a custom-made WWE Championship ahead of Sunday’s game against Huddersfield.

Defender Nicolas Otamendi looked like an expert as he held the WWE championship aloft
City's social media star Benjamin Mendy was his usual enthusiastic self as he hold the title
Fernandinho looks enthused as he holds the custom-made WWE championship title belt
Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus had a smile on his face as he draped the belt on his shoulder
Bernardo Silva was dwarfed by the belt as he wore it before lifting the Premier League title

Raheem Sterling even made an entrance with the belt as he showed his enthusiasm.

The rest of the City squad were clearly delighted to get their hands on the famous championship.

Nicolas Otamendi went for a traditional one-handed lift, bringing forward visions of the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold.

Ederson went for a more aggressive pose, with Benjamin Mendy also showing his joy at getting to hold the custom belt.

Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus were both somewhat dwarfed by the belt as they held it, and it also seemed oversized compared to Fernandinho.

Aymeric Laporte kept his cool as he simply wore it around his waist in the more traditional manner.

City were confirmed as Premier League winners on April 15 after Manchester United lost 1-0 against West Brom.
