Juventus Eyeing Up ‘£43m Reunion With Alvaro Morata’ Following His Lacklustre Debut Season In The Premier League

Alvaro Morata could be offered a return to Juventus, according to reports.

The Serie A giants want the Chelsea striker, 25, on loan with an option to buy.

Morata has struggled in his first season at Chelsea with 15 goals following his £60m summer move from Real..

Tuttosport claim Juve would pay £13million up front in a deal which would rise to £43m if made permanent.

He spent two seasons at Juventus between 2014 and 2016 before Real Madrid triggered a buy-back clause.

The Blues reportedly want Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain, who could be forced to sell to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.

January signing Olivier Giroud started up front ahead of him against Swansea in Chelsea’s last match.

Boss Antonio Conte said in January: “The only thing I can tell him is to continue to work, to stay calm and to continue to work this way for the team.

“If he continues to work in this way, the chances arrive for him and the other players.

“I repeat I understand for a striker it’s not easy if you don’t score, but don’t forget for Alvaro it’s his first season playing regularly.

“He didn’t always play with Real Madrid and Juventus. I’m very happy with his commitment and the way he’s playing. He has to stay calm continue to play this way.”
