Arsenal’s players gathered for a team bonding session at Barracuda Casino on Wednesday night as they look to round off their season with Europa League glory.
A total of 19 first-team players were seen leaving the venue shortly after midnight as they look to put some poor recent results behind them and focus on ending the season with silverware.
Aaron Ramsey, Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Per Mertesacker were all seen on Baker Street and Gunners fans will hope they left with more of a winning feeling than what they arrived with.
Arsenal surrendered a one-goal advantage to lose 2-1 away against Newcastle on Sunday.
They are next in action on Sunday, at home to West Ham before they host Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of their Europa League semi-final.
The return leg in Spain is the following Thursday and tournament victory represents Arsenal’s best way to return to the Champions League.
The Gunners are sixth in the Premier League, 14 points behind fourth-place Tottenham with five matches left to play.
Wenger deflected questions about his own future, saying that his biggest concern was ensuring a top-six finish in the Premier League and winning the Europa League.
Wenger said: ‘My personal situation is not so much my worry at the moment. My worry is to transform a season with many disappointments into success and that is what matters to me.
‘It is not my future in front of me every time I make a half-turn. That is not my biggest priority. My worry is Arsenal.’
