Nigerian forward Joseph Akpala was on target in KV Oostende 3-3 draw against Royal Antwerp in Belgian First Division Europa League playoffs on Monday.
Akpala put in a strong performance as his side forced Antwerp to a 3-3 draw.
The 33-year-old opened the scoring in the 28th minute to put Oostende ahead but Laurent Mendy equalised for the hosts from the penalty spot within 6 minutes.
Richairo Zivkovic restored the visitors lead in the 54th minute but their joy was shortlived as Joaquin Ardaiz scored just after one minute and William Owusu’s strike put the hosts ahead.
Oostende’s Zinho Gano scored from the penalty spot to ensure the game ended in a draw.
