Barcelona are still unbeaten. No one at the Sanchez Pizjuan was quite sure how but it definitely had something to do with Lionel Messi.
Messi came off the bench to rescue Barcelona at Sevilla with a stoppage-time equaliser on Saturday night.
He was watching on the bench for the first half as Barcelona fell two goals behind against Sevilla.
But he climbed off the bench with just under half an hour remaining and after Luis Suarez had flung himself at a loose ball two minutes from time to make it 2-1, Messi waved that magic wand left foot to level on 89 minutes.
Franco Vazquez scored Sevilla’s first goal which set his side on their way to a two-goal lead during Saturday’s game. Luis Muriel doubled Sevilla’s dominance over Barcelona in the 50th minute.
