Liverpool are ready to offer Mo Salah a bumper new contract in order to ward off any potential summer interest, according to reports.
Salah has caught the eye with his incredible goal scoring return since moving to Anfield, leading to the likes of Real Madrid being linked with the Egyptian.
However Salah is reportedly happy at Anfield, and Liverpool want to put any speculation to bed by offering him a new deal of up to £200,000-a-week.
The Mirror report that Salah, unlike Philippe Coutinho who forced through a move to Barcelona, is keen to stay and prove himself in the Premier League.
Salah, who was sold by Chelsea after an unimpressive spell before rebuilding his reputation at Roma, is well on his way to managing this, with 36 goals this season already.
He joined Liverpool last summer for £34million, and signed a ‘long term’ deal worth around £90,000 a week.
However, according to these reports, the Reds are prepared to more than double his salary to stave off interest from the likes of Real.
A £200,000 weekly contract would take Salah into the top 10 of the Premier League’s best paid footballers, level with David de Gea and Eden Hazard.
He would still be well short of the highest salary in the division however, the £350,000-a-week paid to Alexis Sanchez by Manchester United.
