Sir Alex Ferguson Visits Manchester United Team At Lowry Hotel Ahead Of Crunch Premier League Clash Against Liverpool At Old Trafford As Paul Pogba Faces A Late Fitness Test

Sir Alex Ferguson arrives at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester city centre on Friday night

Sir Alex Ferguson visited the Lowry Hotel on Friday night as he offered his advice to the Manchester United players ahead of the clash with Liverpool.

Ferguson was spotted arriving at the team hotel in Manchester as the players prepared for the Premier League game at Old Trafford.

There was, however, no sign of Paul Pogba at the hotel ahead of the Saturday lunchtime kick-off that sees Jose Mourinho’s side take on Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.

Pogba is believed to be facing a late fitness test to be ready for the 12.30pm game.

He no doubt offered his support to Mourinho when he saw him – the Portugese boss has long been an admirer of Ferguson.

Romelu Lukaku will hope to be among the goals when United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford
