After over a week without a game, Manchester United are back in action on Monday night when they face Crystal Palace away in the Premier League.

United haven’t played since they beat Chelsea 2-1 on February 25 but manager Jose Mourinho and his players were spotted making the trip to London by train on Sunday.

Paul Pogba, who has been the subject of much scrutiny recently, was amongst the players who travelled and the Frenchman was seen speaking to Mourinho at Stockport railway station.

United go into the game knowing that they must win to return to second place above Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp’s side having beaten Newcastle 2-0 on Saturday.

Mourinho has some difficult selection decisions to make against Palace, with Jesse Lingard pushing for a start after scoring the winner against Chelsea, while Luke Shaw is competing with Ashley Young for the left-back berth.

Palace are languishing in the relegation zone but will be determined to cause an upset and get the better of United.

Alexis Sanchez will hope that this game can kick-start his United career and the winger is set to make his second appearance at Selhurst Park this season after he hit a brace in Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Palace in December.

Sanchez has scored once and provided two assists in his seven appearances for United so far.

Following the game against Palace, United host Liverpool on Saturday.
