Nigerian forward Joseph Akpala was on target in Oostende 3-2 win over KAA gent in Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
Akpala scored the second goal for Oostende, but a late strike from the spot by Roman Yaremchuk drew Gent level in the 90th minute. However their joy was shortlived when Richairo Zivkovic scored the winner in the extra time.
His compatriot Moses Simon made his return from injury for Gent but started from the bench. The 22-year-old came on for Yuya Kubo in the 70th minute as Gent lost 3-2 to Joseph Akpala’s Oostende.
Akpala has score five league goals this season.
