Michy Barshuayi has taken a swipe at Antonio Conte over his a lack of game time at Chelsea.
The Belgian striker, 24, has questioned how closely Conte watched his Blues performances before shipping him out to Dortmund on loan.
Batshuayi has netted five goals in three games since joining the Bundesliga giants – who needed a striker after selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal for £60million.
Batshuayi struggled since joining Blues for £33m in July 2016 and made just three Premier League starts this season.
After scoring twice in the Germans’ 3-2 Europa League win over Atalanta, he said: “I don’t know if Conte was watching my game.
“Sitting on the bench, score a goal and then back to the bench is quite difficult to deal with for an attacker.
“It wasn’t always easy at Chelsea.
“I’m now playing with a lot of confidence.
“They are focusing on the Premier League and have an important Champions League tie next week.
“I hope it turns out well for them.”
