Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has been offered a trial by Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna.
The 33-year-old will be evaluated by new coach Clarence Seedorf.
Muntari played alongside Seedorf at AC Milan and was also coached by the Dutch great when he took over Milan in 2014.
Muntari attracted headlines last season after being initially banned for protesting racism in Italy.
Muntari said he was treated like a ‘criminal’ after being shown two yellow cards in a protest during a Serie A game while with Pescara.
Muntari’s previous clubs include Udinese, Inter Milan, Portsmouth and Sunderland.
Struggling Deportivo are 18th in La Liga and face Real Betis on Monday.
