Egyptian FA Boss Says Mo Salah Could Leave Liverpool This Summer

Hany Abo Rida claims Real Madrid want Salah

Egypt’s FA president Hany Abo Rida claims Real Madrid will make a summer move for  Mohamed Salah.

Salah made the switch to Liverpool from Roma last June for a bargain £34.4million.

The Egyptian has been in  sensational form, scoring 18 league goals in 22 games.

The Kop giants have shrugged off talk  surrounding the 25-year-old’s future but Abo Rida  suggest they will face a huge battle to keep hold of the forward.

Reports in Egypt claim Abo Rida said on TV: “Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer.

“Salah is now looking to improve his game. Obviously if an Egyptian plays for a club as popular around the world as Real Madrid, it’s going to be great for Egyptian football.”

Pharaohs manager Hector Cuper also commented about the speculated move.

He added: “I’ve received news revealing Real’s interest  but let’s not rush things.”

Salah has been part of an exciting team that has clicked this season for Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds are unbeaten in 18 matches in all competitions and victory at Swansea tonight would see him record a sixth successive win for the first time since he arrived on  Merseyside in October 2015.
