The Ivorian star Wilfried Zaha was full of praise for the Crystal Palace fans after they helped the Eagles fight back for a point against West Ham yesterday (Saturday).
Zaha salvaged a point for the Eagles with a goal deep into stoppage time, with the Ivory Coast international beating Joe Hart in the 97th minute of the London derby.
And he said that the support from the stands was crucial to helping Palace fight back from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils.
“I am sure everyone that comes to Crystal Palace know that the crowd is the 12th man for us, and they help us massively throughout every game,” he told the club website.
“The support here is crazy so having them on our side helps us so much in the game and we all saw that again [against West Ham].
And Zaha pointed to a crucial moment in the game as Luka Milivojevic converted from the penalty spot early in the second half to halve the deficit, after Andros Townsend had been fouled in the box by Angelo Ogbonna.
