Crystal Palace playmaker has been sorely missed since he injured his knee last month but the forward told fans on Wednesday: ‘The comeback is near’.
The 24-year-old playmaker gave the update via Twitter as he shared a video of himself training at the club’s Beckenham base.
The club also used Twitter to issue an update on Zaha.
Palace posted two photos alongside the words: ‘Wilf continuing his recovery.’
The London side have still yet to score a Premier League goal this season, taking zero points from their opening six games.
That barren run could continue a little while longer as Palace’s next two fixtures are away to Manchester United and then at home to Chelsea.
Zaha is unlikely to return to full fitness in time to start against United on Saturday
But there is a good chance he could make Roy Hodgson’s first XI when Chelsea visit Selhurst Park after the international break.
Zaha has not played since injuring his knee in last month’s 3-0 home loss to Huddersfield
